This trip took place on the 27th of November 2007 . When we arrived at Croke Park at 10:45 , we took the museum tour. The tour was very informative about the G.A.A., both today and in the past. The downstairs of the museum contained mostly films based on G.A.A., history while upstairs we participated in the Park Live challenge and enjoyed many different activities. We were then escorted down to the underground tunnel in Croke Park by our tour guide Neil. He first informed us about the functions of the tunnel on match day and then he took us into the dressing rooms used by both Kerry and Kilkenny during this year's All-Ireland finals. We learned that each dressing room is equipped with its own warm up area (which is sound proof). Next we made our way out of the tunnel and up onto the Hogan stand. He introduced us to each stand and educated us about the history behind them and how they earned their names. Then it was time for one o'clock lunch. During our delicious meal we were introduced to G.A.A. legends such as Brian Cody , Mickey Harte and we also met Peter Quinn (ex President of G.A.A.) and Brian Carthy (G.A.A., commentator).
