1 st Year “A” Hurling
The 1 st year `A' Hurlers began this year's campaign with a facile win over city rivals Castletroy College , beating them 6-12 to 0-2. Ardscoil were dominant throughout with impressive debut performances, particularly in attack, from William 0' Donoghue , Kevin Hogan and Shane Costello with them racking up a score of 6-6 between them. Their next game saw them travel to Dromcollogher This proved to be a much tougher test than their previous outing with both sides giving their all as victory for either team would have secured pole position in the group and a place in this years final. A very capable Dromcollogher side made sure that Ardscoil would have to be at their very best to come away with a victory. This game was still in the balance heading into the final ten minutes with Dromcollogher reducing a 6 point deficit to just a single point. Ardscoil then showed remarkable character and confidence to put in a storming finish to an extremely entertaining game, ensuring Ardscoil's appearance on Final Day for the sixth year in succession. Mark Buckley , Shane 0'Brien, Lukas O'Brien put in outstanding displays in defence. In attack, Ronan Kirby(0-l), Dan Goggin(1 -4), William 0' Donoghue (C-5) and Kevin Hogan(1 -0) contributed greatly to a brilliant final tally of 2-14.
FINAL v Charleville C.B.S (0-9 TO 3-5): After two encouraging performances in the group stages Ardscoil made the short journey to the Gaelic Grounds, where they faced a fancied Charleville side in a repeat of last years decider. Playing against the elements in the first half Ardscoil trailed at the break by 2 points, 1-4 to 0-5. On the change of' ends Ardscoil but in a brave performance and laid siege on the Charleville goal scoring 4 hard earned points. Charleville, ensured victory however, when against the run of play, broke down field and scored 2 crucial goals. Despite losing, Ardscoil still had encouraging displays with Mark Buckley once again showing his class at centre back. Ronan Kirby and Lukas O'Brien worked tirelessly in midfield, while William 0' Donoghue , and Brian O'Riordan also gave notable performances.

1 st Year “B” Hurling
The 1 st year `B' Hurlers enjoyed a reasonable amount of success in their league campaign, Playing in a particularly strong group, they began with a terrific win over Abbeyfeale, 4-8 to 3-2. Cathal Flanagan , Arron Gaule and Alan Casey played very well in defence, while Robbie Bourke and Dean McLoughlin led Ardscoil to victory from the middle of the field. Match Day two saw them pitted against Gael Coláiste. Ardscoil had to withstand some early pressure from Gael Coláiste before eventually running out easy winners. James Fox and Arron Gaule came to the rescue a number of times during the early exchanges before the Ardscoil attack finally got going. Dean Mc Loughiin helped himself to an impressive 3-3 during the course of the game and David Poland scored 4 fine points from play to ensure victory. 7-13 to 1- The final game of the group, an away fixture against competition favourites Kilmallock, was always going to be a difficult assignment. Ardscoil performed well below previous standards and trailed at the break 1-8 to 0-0. Pride was restored some what in the second half with a spirited performance where Ardscoil scored 4 points without reply. Leading that spirited performance were Alan Casey and Robbie Bourke .
