The Ardscoil Rís India Immersion project is a programme, which was initiated by An Tobar, Marino institute of Education in Dblin. It involves some of the network of Christian Brothers Schools in Ireland making a link with the Christian Brothers in India.

A group of Ardscoil Rís students and teachers first visit Calcutta and then go on to Asonsol. They learn a lot from the interaction with the Indian people.

The Journey involves a two-day stop over in Jordan. The route was as follows:
· Shannon to Jordan
· Jordan To Calcutta
· Calcutta to Asonsol
· Back to Shannon.
Ardscoil Rís Immersion trip to India is a wonderful experience for all concerned.
