School Musical – All Shook Up!

Tickets are still available for tonight and tomorrow nights performance from the school and tickets will be available to buy at LIT Millenium Theatre on the nights depending on if there are tickets left.

Three Ardscoil students on Irish Scouting Expedition to Iceland
February 24th, 2012Three third Year students: Conor Hempenstall, Andrew O’Neill and Michael Quigley spent their February Mid Term break on an activity filled break in Iceland. The activities included two one-day hikes, a three day expedition and cross country skiing. All of this while sleeping in an igloo in temperatures of minus ten with the Northern Lights clearly visible! Well done to our thee intrepid students!

February 24th, 2012School Musical – All Shook Up!
February 22nd, 2012The Transition Year students are presenting the musical ‘All Shook Up’ in the Millenium Theatre from Wednesday 29th February to Saturday 3rd March.
All Shook Up is a new musical comedy built around the songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It takes place in 1955, somewhere in Middle America, where one girl’s dream combined with a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs featured in the score are classics like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Love Me Tender,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and of course the title tune.
Tickets are on sale in school reception and cost €10 per person for the Wednesday night show and €12 per person for the shows on Thursday to Saturday.All performances start at 8pm. The musical is directed by Tony Cusack.
