This years Bowen Shield saw the beginning of a new format for the competition. Nine teams start the competition with six teams qualifying for the knockout stages. The league stages proved to be very competitive with all teams recording victories and losses. The Ardscoil team recorded notable victories against Rockwell College and CBC from Cork . Narrow defeats to Castletroy and Glenstal, followed by a difficult away fixture to PBC resulted in Ardscoil earning an away quarter final against Crescent Comprehensive.

Under 16 Rugby Team 2007-2008

This Match played on November the 21 st provided a very competitive game with great open rugby from both sides. Despite long periods of sustained pressure Ardscoil were unable to convert their opportunities into scores. Crescent finished winners by 11-0.

Congratulations to Billy Storan , Tom Goggin , Jack Murray and Niall Buckley for their involvement with the Munster u16 squad and best of luck with their training sessions and final team selections.
